I served with the best unit in the corps, then when we got back, I served with the same unit, even with 4th PLT, I even set up a sick call in the back of the supply quonset hut, even though I also worked at the battalion aid station at Camp Horno, within camp Pendleton.   OORAH !!!

I am the nephew of LCpl Charlie Paul Bryant Jr.  He was KIA in Quang Nam in April of 1969.  He served with H Co. from April 20, 1968 until then.  I am trying to learn more about him.  I just finally had the chance to decorate his grave this past Memorial Day.  It was an honor and I am very interested in learning anything from his brothers in arms about him.  I, as a veteran, know the meaning those brothers have to one another.  We have conflicting information in the family, mostly due to bad memory and mistakes by the government, about his final days.  Please contact me if you remember anything about my Uncle Paul.  He was from Detroit, MI at the time and is buried in Pisgah, AL.  Thanks to all of you for your service and sacrifice.  My mother, his sister, has raised a marine and an Army soldier since.  She would love to know more as well.  Godspeed to you all!
